What is PRINCE2®?

PRINCE2® is a process based methodology, designed for effective Project Management. This qualification gives you the fundamental skills that you need to become a successful project manager, with a globally recognised qualification.

PRINCE2® stands for PRojects IN Controlled Environments. It focuses on control, configuration, quality, dependability, and productivity.

It was derived from the government specification of IT project management methodology, that was known as PROMPT II.

PRINCE2® was then born and was used outside of the industry after being redefined for more widespread project management!
